Ethical and Environmental Policy
The CRN UK is a national membership organisation providing support and advice to charities, not-for-profit and community groups involved in recycling, re-use and waste minimisation projects. We are commited as are our members to social justice for the communities they work in.The CRN has a Sustainable Development Action Plan which includes items such as saving resources, sustainable transport, saving energy, care for the local area, ethical shopping. This helps determine some of the everyday practices that CRN undertake. This includes an ethical buying policy for example tea and coffee, sugar etc should be fairtrade, where possible we purchase food for events etc from local producers, paper products should be made from recycled paper and where possible purchased from local businesses. We chose to bank with a bank who has ethical policies.
The CRN has a Equal Opportunities Policy and an Environment Policy.
