The Deeside Food Co-operative was founded as a non profit organisation dedicated to reducing the economical and ecological cost of buying wholefoods, specialist foods, bulk buys and eco friendly stuff.

Why pay huge mark ups on goods via high street shops when - if you're happy without fancy and polluting packaging - you can get together with like minded people from the area, buy in bulk and share it out?...and make new friends and get a cup of tea at the same time!

Specialising in vegetarian, fairly traded, organic, ethical and natural products, our suppliers also have their own successful brand of food and non-food products. As a radical workers' cooperative, they have dedicated the last 30 years to providing quality products backed up with uncompromising passion for ethical trading.

We also offer locally produced seasonal vegetables and homebaking and run free 'Grow your Own' gardening workshops based around permaculture basics and Forest Garden principles.
