Vegan-Organic Network

Reducing the amount of animal foods produced and consumed is the key to improving so many things today - but without animal manures how can food be grown organically? it's easy and VON points the way.

Interested in permaculture, ethical food growing, protecting the environment? You need to join VON!

The Vegan-Organic Network promotes truly sustainable ways of growing food: vegan permaculture, animal free home growing and stockfree organic farming through its stockfree organic certification scheme, visits to affiliated farms and members' allotments and in many other ways. Our magazine Growing Green International, reports on worldwide ethical farming and growing. VON provides information and a members advice line and email group.

How will the organic farmers of the future learn their trade? The Welsh College of Horticulture http://www.wcoh.ac.uk runs courses based on a stockfree organic farm; VON provides bursaries to help students at the college.
